TCT saw blade is another name for Tungsten Carbide Tipped saw blade, a commonly used cutting tool in industrial cutting.

Core Structure and Materials
TCT saw blades mainly consist of two parts: the base (mostly 65Mn spring steel) provides toughness support, while the cutting tip is made of a cemented carbide material combining tungsten carbide (WC) and cobalt. Some also have nano-coatings such as TiN and TiCN to improve wear resistance, increasing the saw blade life by up to 40%.

Applicable Scenarios
It can be used to cut various materials such as wood, metal, PVC, stainless steel, and titanium alloys. The tooth shape is clearly distinguished according to the material being processed:

Wood cutting uses a left-right oblique tooth arrangement (left-right teeth)
Aluminum profile cutting uses a parallel flat tooth arrangement (flat teeth)
When continuously cutting wood, the life of a TCT saw blade can be up to 5 times that of a high-speed steel saw blade, making it the preferred solution for batch processing in timber mills; when cutting metal, it is also mainly suitable for high-precision batch processing of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum profiles.
