The lifespan of a TCT saw blade is not fixed and varies greatly depending on its specifications, the material being processed, and the usage conditions. The typical range is 8-50 square meters (cutting workpiece end face area). Specific details are as follows:

By Product Type: Small-tooth TCT saw blades for cutting iron have a lifespan of approximately 15-50 square meters and are considered disposable. Large-tooth, thick-type TCT saw blades are suitable for cutting large workpieces, with a lifespan of approximately 8 square meters and can be resharpened 5-10 times for reuse. Special technology models, such as STARK high-volume TCT saw blades, can achieve a lifespan of up to 20 square meters when cutting high-strength pipes, and in some cases, the lifespan for cutting batches of pipes can reach 13,000-18,000 cuts.

General-purpose carbide TCT saw blades: can be resharpened 5-8 times, and with proper use and maintenance, their total lifespan can be further extended.

Key factors affecting lifespan: Actual lifespan is affected by workpiece strength and specifications, cutting equipment design, cutting speed and feed control, and grinding quality. Materials with higher tensile strength cause greater wear on the saw blade. Unstable workpiece during cutting, excessive single-tooth load, and grinding equipment that does not meet factory precision will all significantly shorten the actual lifespan.
